This Sunday we are sharing Lisa Callaghan. Lisa is co-owner of Callaghan Vineyards with her husband Kent Callaghan. Lisa works in the tasting room every week and tries to greet all of their guests with kindness and an open heart. She shares that she loves to talk with visitors and hear their stories whether it is their first visit to the vineyard or they have been coming for decades.
Lisa shares that some who have coming for decades they have gotten to know their families and even grandchildren - it's a wonderful connection they cherish! Lisa loves to share a sense of humor that she got from her father. She loves to laugh and always enjoys getting other people to smile.
Lisa and Kent are very proud of the wine they produce at Callaghan Vineyards. Kent is the farmer and the winemaker. Callaghan Vineyards has been in business since 1990 and the wines continue to garner medals from very prestigious competitions. The Mourvèdre won best wine in Arizona last year and many of their wines won in the San Francisco Chronicle Competition. Their Caitlin’s won a double gold and best in class in 2023. Callaghan Vineyards has even been honored by having its wine served at the White House four times! Delicious wines are being made in Arizona!
