This Sunday, we are sharing Chelsea Kunde, co-founder of Wigged Out and owner of Building Blocks Family. Chelsea is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, and together they have two daughters, Harper and Reese. Chelsea has dedicated her entire career to improving the lives of others. In 2012, Chelsea and a few friends started Wigged Out, a non-profit organization that provides funding for people with medically related hair loss to get a wig. Chelsea is a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and was diagnosed shortly before her wedding at the age of 26. Motivated by her own experience with finding a wig and the emotional toll of hair loss due to her cancer treatment, she set out to improve the lives of others in similar circumstances.
Over ten years later, Wigged Out has helped return a sense of self and confidence to over 2,000 people in Arizona with medically related hair loss, due to conditions such as cancer, alopecia, medication, and autoimmune disorders. In her private business, Chelsea is the owner Building Blocks Family, helping families across the country by providing loving solutions and parental coaching for sleep, discipline, and potty training. She has helped hundreds of parents create secure and loving environments for their children. Through her philanthropic work and career, Chelsea aims to help everyone live their lives to the fullest, and improve the lives of those in need.
Chelsea feels the most motivated when she is busy. She is a perfectionist through and through and although at times, that keeps her up at night, it also is a strength. She loves a good to do list and when she is extra busy checking things off her list, she gets motivated by that energy and uses it to charge forward. Fun fact, Chelsea is a Virgo and really adapts many of the traits.
