Danielle Sittu: Owner of Statements Boutique

It’s the final Sunday Share of the season before graduation celebrations kick off.  This week I’m thrilled to introduce my newest plaza neighbor—Danielle Sittu, owner of Statements Boutique.

Danielle has always had a way with words. A writer and editor at heart, she’s spent more than 30 years crafting stories and shaping brands—from scrappy startups to global powerhouses. Her journey started fresh out of journalism school at Arizona State University, and she’s been making an impact ever since.

For over a decade, Danielle ran her own communications firm, then rose through the corporate ranks to the executive level.  After years of helping others tell their stories, she realized it was time to write a bold new chapter of her own.

Those who know Danielle, she’s best described as adventurous, driven, fiercely thoughtful, and just the right mix of perfectionist and risk-taker. When she sets her sights on something, she’s all in.

Fashion had always been a quiet passion of hers—yet, for much of her life, Danielle struggled to feel comfortable in her own skin. That personal journey inspired her to create Statements Boutique, LLC, a women's clothing store designed to help women of all shapes and sizes feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their style.

When I asked Danielle how she makes a difference in the community now mentor was her first response.  It’s always been a consistent thread in her career. Whether it was guiding team members in the boardroom or coaching younger staff, she loves watching others grow and succeed. Now, as a boutique owner, she channels that same energy into uplifting her customers—helping them express their individuality and walk a little taller.  As a recent shopper I can say she has a gift!

Warm, outgoing, and deeply intuitive, Danielle has a knack for reading people—even when they’re silent. She calls it her sixth sense, and it’s one of the many reasons people feel instantly at ease around her. And once you’re in her circle, you’re in it for life. Her loyalty runs deep.

Danielle’s friends and family have been a big encouragement opening her store.   Their unwavering love and support have been her foundation and fuel. “They challenge me and support me in everything I do,” she says. “Because I have them, the sky's the limit.”
