This Sunday we are sharing Ritta Yee Fagain, CEO of WHYFOR Agency.  This March Ritta was recognized as one of the  “Outstanding Women in Business 2023” by the Phoenix Business Journal. Ritta’s a mom to 2 boys, a wife soon to be celebrating 30 years with her husband Ray, and a friend to countless people.  She’s a proud Korean-American & GenXer who was born in Germany, raised in Los Angeles, settled in Phoenix and lived in several countries in between.  She is a true global citizen invested in creating supportive, successful communities — both professional and personal.

The summer before Ritta was starting law school, she worked at a marketing/ad agency in LA.  Unexpectedly they offered her a job and her career in marketing began.   Soon Ray & Ritta moved to Europe for his job and she put hers on hold for nearly 20 years.   When Ritta returned to the US and settled in Phoenix, she quickly picked up her career right where she left off.

Ritta can’t help but focus on facilitating growth. It’s a passion that comes naturally to her, whether she’s discussing business growth, the growth of a cause, or the potential that lies within a friend or colleague.  At WHYFOR, Ritta carries with her the spirit of a mentor and the discipline of a CEO. She asks the questions and offers the insights that matter, in every situation, because she is truly invested in creating positive outcomes across the board. Her 20 years spent abroad no doubt influences the way she relates with everyone.

Ritta has always been community centered & currently serves as the Chair of St Joseph the Worker. She also has strong interests in civic engagement, women's issues, equality, equity & children. Ritta likes to contribute to bettering the community, not with a bang, but with consistently engaging and showing up.

Phoenix Business Journal's Outstanding Women in Business award is granted to 26 accomplished women who have been selected for their achievements in business and the community.
